The City of Largo is laying on the Florida's West Coast on the Pinellas Peninsula in range of St. Petersburg and Clearwater, per contra the bay from Tampa. A settlement was found in 1872 and was named Largo. It was incorporated in 1905. Warm and subtropical climate and sand dunes helped form Largo into a progressive agricultural community. The City of Largo has experienced notable growth in population over the past 35 years. In 1960, the population was 5,302. Now, Largo is ranked as the 19th largest city of Florida.
